Brrrrr! Time to start thinking about furniture for this abode. We have some items staged in what used to pass for our living room, 3 sofas, dining room table & 8 chairs, and a buffet. (5) 8 x 10 area rugs yada, yada. Still need bedroom furniture and some tables and chairs. Enter Bauer International, I just love their British Colonial furniture. If I close my eyes I can easily be transported back in time to the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore where I would be sipping a cold Singapore Sling. The roof kicks into high gear. Different pitches keep it interesting.
Bedroom #2 Ceiling looks like we can move in tomorrow. We’ve come a long way. Cyprus sheathing that has been stained and sealed covers the rafters.
