Ok, this house is definitely approaching habitability so it is time to fill it up with STUFF, and plenty of it. We have been methodically purchasing all the necessities and niceties worthy of a villa on STJ over the past year. This is where all those years of renting villas come into play. We tried to think of the items we found useful as guests and we wanted our guests to feel pampered as they spend their hard earned vacation at Villa Andara. After all, this home is a reflection of us. So our home in the states became one big staging area. Luckily we have no living room furniture so the boxes started to congregate there….
Then the 3 king sized mattresses took up residence in our foyer, who uses the front entrance anyway!

The 40 foot container that we will ship our prized possessions to STJ in arrives on our driveway. We hired a moving crew to load the container as we realized that this was not a job for mere mortals! Notice that refreshing bottle of VI brew…
Our cars had not seen the inside of our 3 car garage in months!
Each and every item was tagged and recorded for our bill of lading and carefully loaded into the container. Boy were we glad it didn’t rain that day!
Our dog Jasper was wondering where he fit in this scheme??
Last few items and the doors were closed. We wouldn’t see our precious cargo for over a month.
